Light showers 11am-2pm .05" fell. 4: Dense AM fog. Partly cloudy with pleasant temperatures. First frost of season 6: A chilly low of 34 F this morning with heavy frost. Clear skies & calm winds during the day. 8: AM fog, then mostly sunny & pleasant 10: AM fog and a light shower .02" fell. Became sunny during the afternoon. 12: Clear & chilly with valley fog & frost early. 13: Cloudy. Light rain during the afternoon and early evening .17" fell. 15: Occasional light rain or drizzle throughout the day .13" fell. Partly cloudy, breezy, brief AM shower. 31: Mostly sunny, breezy & mild. High 74 F. SUMMARY: The trend of relatively mild temperatures with a lack of extremes continued this month. The temperature only reached freezing on one morning. In spite of abundant clouds, fog and frequent light rains, October precipitation was below normal for the eighth time in the last nine years.
