SUMMARY: November's weather pattern was quite active with frequent frontal passages, resulting in many days with precipitation. Most of it was light, but on the 29th heavy rains ahead of a slow-moving cold front dropped nearly 2 inches and caused minor flooding in the area. The frequent frontal passages also resulted in some large temperature swings. Overall this was a mild month and was the sixth consecutive month with above normal temps. The first week of November was the warmest. However, winter made quite an appearance on Thanksgiving with 3 inches of snow the prior evening, much colder temperatures and near-zero wind chills. Additional notes/records 23: Daily record snowfall of 3.0" 29: Heavy rainfall of 1.76" but was not a record as 2.01" fell on this date in 1984. The Fall of 2005 was the 3rd warmest on record with a mean temperature of 56.5 F.
