INDIAN SUMMER 10: A mild high of 65F today. Couple showers this morning just .02" rain. 11: The line of severe thunderstorms that produced all the tornadoes and damage in the Midwest breaks apart as it crosses the mountians and goes all around this station, only .02" rain fell... 12: Steady rains developed early this morning just before 7am and continued all day with .84" falling by evening when the rain tapered off. Temperatures much cooler today than yesterday. 16: A couple light showers overnight. Steady light rains began around 11am and continued all afternoon and evening for a total of .53" by midnight. 17: Light rain tapered to showers overnight. Persistant light rain and drizzle for most of the day. Temperatures fell and a few flurries fell this evening as temperatures dropped into the 30s. Total precip .36". 18: Few snow flurries overnight and became cold with a low of 30F. 19: Cold this morning with a good frost, a period of cold rain from about 9:45am to noon .10" fell. 20: A frosty morning low of 25F but warmed up nicely to 60F with sunshine. 21: Periods of light rain on and off all day mostly this morning with low clouds and fog, total again .10". 22: Snow flurries and light snow showers overnight, no measurable accumulation. 23: Again mostly cloudy with snow flurries on and off all day but not measurable. Garrett Co. got 3-6". FIRST MEASURABLE SNOW 26: Light snow began late this afternoon and continued through the evening, 1.5" fell by midnight. 27-28: Cold days with varying amounts of clouds and snow flurries 30: Snow showers late this evening following cold front with 0.5" accumulation by midnight... NOVEMBER SUMMARY: November was near-average in both temperature and precipitation. There were no particularly outstanding events during the month, nor any extreme temperatures.
