MONTHLY SUMMARY: May was warm and dry - a welcome change from the past couple of months, which brought lots of cold, wind, record snows, precipitation and flooding. There were no extremes in temperatures, although the upper 80s readings around the 10th were just shy of record highs. Despite a much drier weather pattern than the previous two months, the spring of 1993 was still the wettest ever spring and season on record with 18.69" of rainfall.
