The mean temperature of 64.3 F made it the second warmest May on record. The average max of 78.2 was the warmest on record. Meanwhile, the paltry 0.87" monthly precipitation total shattered the old record of 2.44" in 1993. Only 5 days had any measurable rainfall, and thunderstorms were few and far between, and missed this station.
