However a strong cold front plowed through, bring rain, then sleet and snow as temperatures tumbled and strong winds blew the snow around, 2" fell. the low reached a chilly 19 F by midnight. 9: Cold low 14 F high only 29 F. 10: Cold low 15 F. 11-12: Much milder with highs in the 60s and sunshine. 13-16: Very mild with 4 consecutive days in the mid 70s. 27-28: A few rain showers. MONTHLY SUMMARY After 4 Marches with a lot of wild weather, this March of 1995 was very quiet, with much warmer than average temperatures and very dry conditions, with the monthly total of 1.04" the 2nd driest March on record. The only notable precipitation event, and only measurable snow, came on the 8th, when a cold front brought an intense but quick cold snap. Temperatures rebounded just as quickly as they fell, with highs in the 70s at mid-month. Additional notes/records 9: Record low max 29 F but this record was immediately broken in 1996 (26 F) March 1995 was the 2nd driest March on record with 1.04" precipitation. As no snow fell in April, the 1994-95 cold season had the 4th least amount of snowfall (12.8").
