Summary: The first half of January was quite mild, especially the first four days which brought near- record warmth. Winter made a strong presence during the second half with two significant snow events on the 20th and 30th and some Arctic temperatures at times. Despite near-normal snowfall, precipitation was well below normal. Additional notes/records 2: Record high 64 F 22: Low of -2 was not a record but the high of 16 F was a record low max for the date. 27: High of 14 F was a record low max for the date
