Frequent frontal passages resulted in large temperature swings and on several occasions, strong winds. The month's high and low temperatures occurred only 3 days apart. Meanwhile, despite numerous days of precipitation and many weather systems, total precipitation was below normal. Much of the month's precipitation fell as dry, post-frontal snow showers. Snowfall for the month totaled near normal, with no particularly outstanding storm events.
