Summary: Relatively uneventful August with near-normal temperature and precipitation. Morning fog was a common theme for the month, occurring nearly every morning. Temperatures were relatively consistent. Additional Records/Notes: 28 days with fog smashes a record for any month! No temperature or precip records set this month. Summer of 1996 is the 4th wettest summer on record with 14.60" of rainfall.
